our friends

We feel very lucky to call the people represented on this page our friends. It is not often that one can take on a monumental task without the help of friends and family, with our project, Restaurant North, we were blessed as both friends and family helped us along the way...

Stephen Wilkes: The world renowned photographer who so graciously blessed us with his masterpieces. Stephen is a friend but now also part of our family, thanks to Stephen and Betty. It's hard to imagine that it all started over a glass of Chateau d'Yquem...

dam ideas NYC: Our branding Team, what can I say… the sh*t! Derek and Marie are not only great friends but also family. I can’t even begin to tell the stories of our meetings, late Sunday nights in the heart of Harlem NYC, cooking short ribs and talking branding philosophy. If you knew what was good for yourself, you would call Derek and Marie as they can do it all…

Eric Issac: Thanks Eric for all of your attention to our project, your food flicks and shots of our wonderful space will live forever, keep on chasing the light! Thanks Brother!!!

Scotty Vacarro: Thanks for being a trailblazer for creativity and passion in Westchester. Scotty, the founder and brew master of Captain Lawrence Brewery in Pleasantville New York (10 minutes from North) has been built into our DNA since the beginning. As the only beer ever to be poured on Tap at North, Scotty and his beers are a North staple… “Don’t tell me this town ain’t got no heart…just gotta look around”

Our Farming Friends

Rainbeau Ridge: Thanks to Lisa and the whole team at Rainbeau Ridge for producing some of the most local and most tasty treats we receive here at North. Lisa’s cheeses are world calss and their vegetables are great also, North would not be the same, “without a little help from our friends”.

Amba Farmes: What happens when you play music to your vegetables while they are growing? Come get these “hipster” veggies at North, they will knock your socks off.

Sycamore Farms: As a child Chef Eric spent many hours on the farm. Sycamore’s steadfast commitment to high quality produce allows North to operate at the highest level. The first corn ever to enter into the kitchen at North was that of Sycamore Farms… does it get any better?

Madura Farms: In the Land of the “Black Dirt” Madura farms mushrooms reign supreme.

Josef Meiller Slaughterhouse: Once a week Chef travels to Pine Plains to receive our freshly slaughtered animals. One of the goals for Restaurant North was to start butchering whole animals as early as year number one. Josef Meiller and Mike Meiller have allowed our dreams to come true.
